    Linda Thomsen, SEC’s Director of the Division of Enforcement, Resigns

    The SEC has announced that Linda Chatman Thomsen, the Director of the Division of Enforcement since 2005, has resigned. According to the Commission, Ms. Thomsen is planning to return to the private sector. Several media sources, including CNBC, have projected that Robert Khuzami, currently the General Counsel-Americas, Deutsche Bank, A.G., New York and the former head of the Fraud Division in U.S. Attorney’s Office the Southern District of New York will be named as Ms. Thomsen’s replacement.
